You will join the think tank of the programming team, develop content and work simultaneously on the production of short and long-term projects, You will be actively looking for artists and other talents and projects in a multidisciplinary way.

You will learn about different art disciplines and experience unique projects. You will also contribute to the art community and engage with interesting artists and individuals. There will be a modest volunteer fee depending on each project.

We open our platform and welcome published & unpublished submissions.
Text submissions can be on an average of 100-300 Words, 300-600 Words, 750 Words, 100-2000 Words.
Descriptions of photographs or documentation of work can be on an average of 100-300 Words or 300-600 Words.
The spreading of the articles and promotion of the site itself is a collaborative effort between Uniarte and the contributing authors, with a goal to build a large inter-relational visibility of art between the Caribbean islands and international world.
For unpublished submissions, Authors can get a modest fee for their submitted text, but need to (in advance) send a query outline to get an official green light on your proposed text.
Articles remain on the website indefinitely and copyright remains with the authors.

The Uniarte LOCAL residency in Willemstad, Curacao, is open to visual artists, curators, performance artists, cultural agents, critical art writers and researchers that are born or raised on Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Saba, Statia, Sint Maarten .
It gives the resident the opportunity to develop their individual practice on an international level and/or work on a collaborative project with other local artists and/or community members.
This residency invites the resident to develop new work on site and work on a specific research question that will enhance their individual practice, it is preferred but not obliged to work on topics relating to the (Dutch) Caribbean context or encouraging new experience to its context. With this residency the resident will be asked to have a minimum of 2 moments of contact with the art scene and the general public by either presenting their work to the local audience, engage in discussions and critic sessions with local artists and visitors, have a tangible outcome like workshop, lecture sessions or exhibition. This will be evaluated each time.
Residents will benefit from the insights of active studio members of UniArte and through studio visits and other network members.
